0.1.0 Released!

Hey all,

I’ve just pushed a 0.1.0 release which fixes the noisiest bugs from the forum here on itch.io. I’ve also done a quick test against the new Playdate OS release - all looks fine, but let me k ow if there’s any issues.

Sorry for the lack of updates over the last few months - work and life responsibilities have left me with little energy for extracurricular activities.

Next release will concentrate on improving the sample handling code. The Granular module produces really good audio when sync’d with a beat/clock but it crashes regularly when changing sample selection.

Other than that a user suggested midi clock support which is doable with the ‘midibus’ Processing project I made but it will need some spare time to develop as it requires compiling some Playdate specific Lua bytecode. It would mean the Playdate could fit into a wider midi setup though which would be nice (you can already use a midi keyboard if you’re a little technical, message me if you can’t find the instructions).
